Syrian Family update. October 14th marks the second anniversary of the arrival in Canada of the Hejjo family. The generosity of Trinity, Shamrose for Syrian Culture, Knox United (Ayr) and MCC Generosity Fund has facilitated the family's adjustment to their new home. The parents have advanced to level 3/4 in English as a second language and the boys are all doing well in school. The family have made social contacts through the mosque, Shamrose, English school and their neighborhood. Medical and Dental matters have been exceptionally well managed at the Downtown Kitchener Community Health Centre and Westheights Dental Clinic.
