Pancake Supper (Shrove Tuesday): Feb 28th between 5:30 pm and 7pm. Join us for this annual event at St. Matthews Lutheran Church located at 54 Benton Street. Meet in the Fellowship Hall off of Church Street. Pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice will be available.
Music at Trinity: Join us next Sunday March 5 with the Chaplain’s Brass, harpist Chris Clarke and choral music by John Rutter.

The Trinity Book Club: will meet on Wednesday, March 15, 1:00 pm, at the home of Carmetta A. (519-886-3534). The book for discussion is "between gods", by Alison Pick. This is a memoir by a young woman who faced problems after learning of her family identity.
Neighbourhood Signs: “No matter where you are from, we’re glad you’re our neighbour”. The Mennonite Central Committee`s Circle of Friends Program: is once again making use of our large kitchen for its Community Cooking Group. This afternoon gathering, commencing on Wed Mar 1st and every second Wednesday thereafter for six Wednesdays, is designed for those individuals recently housed. These men and women typically rely on food banks and free meals in the community to make it through the month. Our kitchen will be used to help those individuals to improve their cooking skills, to prepare a nutritious meal on a limited food budget in an environment of holistic wellness where issues of trauma and isolation can be addressed. Feb 28th between 5pm and 7 pm: 5th annual Pancake Supper & Silent Auction fundraising event at Westminster United Church (543 Beechwood Drive, Waterloo). Enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, fruit and beverages. There will be a bake sale, a silent auction and door prizes! Adults are $10.00, Children are $5.00. Tickets available at the door.
World Day of Prayer: Friday, March 3, 1:30 p.m. at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. The theme for this year's service "Am I Being Unfair To You" was prepared by the World Day of Prayer Committee of The Philippines. A light lunch and a time of fellowship will follow the service.

March 7 & 8: Canadian Federation of University Women - KW is hosting the annaul Open Closet clothing drive and distribution during International Women’s Day on March 8th. It will be held in the Fellowship Hall at Trinity. Donations may be dropped off at the church on March 7th between 5 pm and 9 pm. Please help out with any clothing you can donate.
July 16 - 20: - The University of Waterloo will host the Annual Conference of the Hymn Society of Canada and the US. It promises to be a week rich with hymn festivals, workshop sessions, introduction of new hymnals and hymn collections, plenary speakers and all undergirded by a remarkable spirit of community. Rev. Dr. John Ambrose is reaching out to anyone who might consider making a contribution to the Brazilian Church Musicians (BCM) Fund to enable a group of church musicians to come to Canada in July. Most of these young musicians are earning modest incomes and, without significant assistance, will be unable to attend.
