Easter Memorial Flowers Deadline: Sunday, April 9th Donations are now being accepted for the flowers that will adorn our sanctuary on Easter Sunday. After the service, the plants will be delivered to Trinity shut-ins and members who have experienced the loss of a loved one in the past year. Please include your preferred wording (for the Easter bulletin memorial list) with your donation, or contact the church office 519-742-3578; email email@example.com
Membership: We welcome all who wish to explore full membership with this congregation to a time together after worship on Sunday, April 9th, 2017. Membership Sunday will be April 20th. Please let Rev. Tiina or the church office know of your intentions by Wednesday, April 5th.
The Trinity Book Club: will meet on Wednesday, April 19 at the home of Barbara B. (519-743-2554) at 1:30 pm. The book for discussion is Medicine Walk, by the late Richard Wagamese whose novels give invaluable insight into the life of First Nations people in Canada. (A recommended book whether or not you can come.)
Next Congregational Conversation: with Betty Pries from L3G Consulting Group will be Sunday April 23. We will meet for a luncheon after church in the Fellowship Hall.
Collecting Plastic Tabs: We will be once again be collecting the square plastic fastener found on bread and milk bags. This is to help support a school in the Fergus area with the purchase of a child’s wheelchair. The collection container is a purple box found in the office foyer area. A Time of Guided Prayer: will be held at the Grand Valley Institute for Women (GVI) April 1st - May 8th beginning with an opening session on Saturday April 1st and the remaining sessions on Monday only. This is a modified form of a Week Of Guided Pray adapted for the GVI. The companions come from Trinity United Church in Kitchener, Westminster United Church and Emmanuel United Church in Waterloo, and Knox Presbyterian Church 16 in Oakville. This is an example of various churches working together in an outreach prayer retreat for women at GVI. We ask you to hold both retreatants and companions in your prayers.

Friday April 21: Ontario Christian Gleaners Fundraising Dinner. A few days left to reserve your seat!! Join us at the Waterloo Region Police Association (1128 Rife Rd., Cambridge) as we celebrate God's faithfulness with a delicious dinner, inspiring mission stories and videos and special music by the Wiebes. Doors open at 6pm with dinner at 6:30pm. Tickets are required. If you are involved in Prayer Shawl Ministry or would like to learn about it, please plan to attend This event is being hosted by Our Lady of Lourdes (Waterloo) Prayer Shawl Ministry AND St. Teresa of Avila (Elmira) Prayer Shawl Ministry at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 19 Flamingo Drive, Elmira. David Dayler, Director of Discipleship & Parish Life, for Hamilton Diocese will be our guest presenter. Wear your own personal shawl and bring shawls to display. There will be a free-will offering.
