September 1 st update

What's Happening at Trinity

Summer Services: This is our last Sunday of shared services with St. James'-Rosemount.  

Limited Parking:  The minister's laneway and the parking lot nearest to to the chinese restaurant will be dug up on Wednesday September 6th.  There are no further details at this time concerning how long this will take.

Services return to Trinity:  September 10th we shall once again meet in our Sanctuary for 10 am worship.

Decovenating Service:  September 10 we say farewell to Rev Tiina.

SAVE THIS DATE:  "Corageous Conversations"  A full-day Congregational Retreatwtih Betty Pries.  Saturday September 23rd.  Further details to follow.....

Ministry Team Meeting: Tuesday September 5th beginning at 5:00 pm in the Reception Room.

Investment Committee Meeting:  Wednesday September 6th at the RBC building at 4:00 pm

Choir Practice:  resumes on Thursday September 7th at 7:30 pm.  New comers are welcome to join.

Refugee Support Group Meeting:  Friday September 8th at 9:00 am in the Reception Room.

Worship Team Meeting:  Wednesday September 13 at 7:00 pm in the Reception Room.

Community BBQ and Open House:  Sunday September 17 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at St. Matthews Lutheran Church.  Trinity is invited to join for food and fellowship.  

Favourite Hymns Service:  September 24th.  Contact Barbara B.

The Trinity Book Club:   will meet once again on Wednesday, September 20, 1:00 pm, to discuss the book Emancipation Day, by Wayne Grady. This book, chosen for the local One Book One Community event, is set in Canada in the mid-forties and deals with issues of its time. Meet at the home of Eleanor B. (519-579-005).

Booking Rooms for Meetings:  If you have a meeting and wish to book a space in the church, please contact the office by email or phone to ensure it is available for the desired time and date.

Laughing Yoga Practice: continues on Monday evenings at 7:15pm in the Fellowship Hall.  Come experience the health benefits!

Hamilton Conference United Church Women's 2017 Retreat:  register before September 8 so you are not disappointed.  Being held at Five Oaks Education and Retreat Center.  Arrival Friday October 13 at 4pm and closing Saturday October 14th at 4 pm. All inclusive $115.00   Registration click here.
