What's Happening at Trinity...

SAVE THIS DATE:  "Courageous Conversations"  A full-day Congregational Retreat with Betty Pries on Saturday October 28th.  Please mark it on your calendar. Meeting at YMCA Outdoor Centre, Paradise Lake, 8:45 am – 3:30 pm.  Lunch and snacks will be provided.  Sign-up sheets found in the Hearth Room, the Front Office Foyer and the Narthex or contact the office if you wish to attend 519-742-3578 / email  Come for the full day or just for a half day, let us know if you will be there for lunch.  Cost: A free will offering. 

World Wide Communion: Sunday October 1st led by Margaret Collard, Diaconal Minister, retired.

Sunday School:  Please access St. Matthews from the 2nd door on Church Street.

Messy Church: This Sunday October 1st! Meeting at St. Matthews from 4 to 6 pm Sunday afternoon, ending with dinner!  Enter from the parking lot off of Benton St.  Please plan on joining us to celebrate the wedding at Cana, with Roy Holton joining us as story teller, and for a party to start the season off!     All are welcome! 

 Fellowship Club:  A Tour of the Trinity Organ - Take a trip with Gord Allgeier, our organist, and explore the sounds of the Trinity pipe organ, and find out how this magnificent instrument works. Sunday, October 15th at 7:30 P.M.  Everyone welcome.

Full Presbytery Meeting: Tuesday October 24th at Trinity United in Guelph.

Pastoral Care Training Workshop:  Saturday October 28th, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at Gale Presbyterian Church, 10 Barnswallow Dr., Elmira.  Fee $15.00 with lunch provided. Register by October 25th at or 519-669-2852.  See the poster in the Hearth Room.

Fair Trade Magazine: is available for pick up.  Published by the Canadian Fair Trade Network, this magazine does an excellent job of explaining what fair trade is, and how you can support this important movement.   This issue includes an article on Fair Trade and Free Trade and it’s impact on us.   Please pick up a copy, found in the Narthex, the Hearth room or in the Office Foyer area, it’s a good read of important information
