What’s Happening at Trinity…

Flower Deliveries:  Following the service on Sunday poinsettias will be available for distribution to our shut-ins and individuals in retirement and nursing homes.  If you can deliver a flower please meet Laurie Gilmore at the front of the chapel.

Expenses:  If you have incurred expenses on behalf of the Church, please submit your receipts to the Office before Christmas so the Treasurer can reimburse you.  Expense forms are located on the bulletin board under the clock in the office.

Trinity Single Women’s Dinner:  Tuesday December 11th at 5:30pm. “168 Sushi” located at 50 Westmount Rd. N (Westmount Place just north of Erb). Buffet is $25 but individual menu orders available.  It looks like it might be fun!!!  Please let Mary Ann P.

The Fellowship Club Christmas Party:   is on Wednesday, December 12th in the Royal Room at  Golf’s Steak House, 598 Lancaster St. W., Kitchener.   Arrival time is 5:00, with supper being served at 6:00.

Carol Sing: Sunday, Dec 16 at Sunnyside Home, 247 Franklin St. North, Kitchener.  Bring your voice and join the Messy Church families in bringing Christmas cheer to the residents. We will meet at the front entrance at 3:15 pm.

Supporting Reception House:  The congregation is invited to contribute toiletries, or school supplies (markers, paper, colouring books, diapers, small toys etc) to assist new refugees as they settle into our community.  Go to Reception House web site for other needs.  Please bring items to church on December 9 and 16. Thank you.

World Day of Prayer – Planning Meeting for 2019:  will be held on Friday January 4th 1 – 3pm at St. James’-Rosemount United Church, 171 Sherwood Ave, North, Kitchener. This years Program was written by the ladies of Slovenia.  Please join us.

Annual Reports:  are due to the office by Sunday January 6th, 2019.

Annual General Meeting:  Sunday February 10th, 2019 following the service

Community Events

YES VIRGINIA, THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS: Westminster United Church (543 Beechwood Drive, Waterloo) presents “Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus”, a short play by Jamie Gorski, and produced by special arrangement with Playscripts Inc.  Two performances available:

Friday, December 28, 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Sunday, December 30, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Admission is a free will offering.  We look forward to entertaining you!
