House of Friendship Potato Blitz: Help feed our neighbours in need. Trinity and St. Matthews team up again this year to collect potatoes for the House of Friendship. On Saturday, Feb. 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., volunteers are needed for the Supermarket Blitz, to collect donations of cash and spuds at local grocery stores. On Sundays, Feb. 10 and 17, we challenge you to bring bags of potatoes to church and help us beat our team goal of collecting 125 pounds of potatoes. We'll combine our potatoes with St. Matthews' spuds, and the donations will all get dropped off to the House of Friendship. Last year, we rocked it! Let's "peel" outta here with "eyes" on the the spudtacular goal of 125 lbs! See Lori-Ann, social justice coordinator, or email justice@trinityunitedkw.ca for details.
