Annual Report: Two reports have been submitted to date. All reports are due at the end of next week.
Save the date:
March 4th (all day) Toronto United Church Council coming to speak with us.
March 18 (all day) Touring GTA sites. Let the office know if you are interested in participating so we can arrange rides.
Messy Church: Has been cancelled for this Sunday February 4th. Please note that there will be changes for the March and April dates as well. More information will be published at a later date.
Waterloo Presbyterial UCW: Guest Speaker Rev. Paul Miller “Challenging Changes: ‘Where do we go from here?’” Monday February 5, 2018 at 9:00 am. Forest Hill United Church 121 Westmount Rd. E. Kitchener. Worship and Fellowship. All are Welcome.
Prayer Shawl Group: CHANGE OF DATES! We are now meeting on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the week between 1:30 and 3:00 pm in the Upper Room. Please join us February 7th.
Fellowship Club: will be dining out at Golf’s on Monday, Feb.12th at 5:00 in the main restaurant. There are still a few spots available and if anyone would like to join the group, please contact Sue Parker before Feb.6th.
Skating Party: Join St. Matthews Sunday February 11th between 2 – 3 pm at Kitchener Auditorium for Skating and then Pizza & Pop in the Subscribes Lounge between 3 – 5 pm. St. Matthews needs to know numbers for ordering food. If you plan to attend please let Dorothy know by Thursday February 8th.
Trinity Book Club: will meet on February 28 at 1:30 pm to discuss "The Wonder," by Emma Donohue. Set in rural Ireland in the mid-19th century, the story deals with people caught up in conflicting belief systems that lead to desperate actions and serious consequences. We will meet at the home of Margaret C.
World Day of Prayer: Friday March 2nd. Watch for information about location and times.
Two Countries One World: Global citizenship development experience for students grade 10 and up. Returning to Columbia in 2019 to build on connections begun in 2017. Information nights will be in March. More info about TCOW: www.waterlootcow.ca
Tuesday February 13, 2018 – 5:00 – 7:00pm: PANCAKE SUPPER & SILENT AUCTION Westminster’s annual Pancake Supper & Silent Auction fundraiser will take place (543 Beechwood Drive, Waterloo). Tickets are $10 for Adults, $5 for Children 2-12 and Free for Children under 2. Come enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage, fruit and beverages. Roam the silent auction and treat yourself at our bake sale! Tickets available in advance or at the door.
