  Sunday July 29, Keith Summers will lead us in music.  Come prepare Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” with Keith and others on Thursday evening July 26 in the chapel.

July Newsletters ready for pickup:  Please pick up your newsletter when you come to church.  If possible, deliver one to someone who did not attend.   All others will be mailed out the week of July 18th.  The newsletter is also available on line through the Friday eblast or on our Trinity Website.

Festival of Faith: Risking Faith, Daring Hope: July 21-22, kicks off General Council 43 at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Durham College in Oshawa.  10am into the evening both days.  FREE, but donations accepted.  “A celebration of our work and witness through the arts.”

Bill is driving over for 10am on July 21 with a couple of people, room for two more – or we could add another carload!  Speak to Bill after worship, call the church office or Bill this week.

Skylight Festival;  July 27 - 28, Five Oaks Retreat Center, Paris Ontario.  Founded in 2015 by people passionate about the arts, faith, and justice, Skylight is a celebratory and creative space where diverse communities connect to explore arts, faith, peace and justice.  This year's theme: Courage to...  Check the website for details.

Fellowship Club Summer Swim and BBQ Party: is happening on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Ivan's Farm starting at 4:00 with supper being served at 6:00 p.m. Cost is $12 each. Please BYOB and any glasses you need, plus lawn chairs. If you plan to swim, please bring your bathing suit and towel.

This Sunday - July 22nd: St.Peter's United Church in Tatlock, Ontario is celebrating its 125th Anniversary. The service will be conducted by Rev. Stephen Duncan and John Lochead. Stephen was a student minister on this pastoral charge in 1971 and John in 1957.  The service begins at 11:00 am followed by a lunch in the Darling Township Hall.
