Skylight Festival; July 27 - 28, Five Oaks Retreat Center, Paris Ontario. Skylight began with an ecumenical group of people who where passionate about arts, faith and justice. After a successful pilot in 2015 Skylight is returning for another year. Skylight is an open space for people of diverse backgrounds to come together, explore their faith while engaging in art and being inspired by speakers and seekers of justice.
Keynote speakers/performers will include: Mike McHargue, Peterson Toscano, Matt Epp, Brian Mitchell-Walker, and many more. There will be activities for children and youth, and those who are children at heart.
Registration for groups of 6 is just 870.00, which includes a free camp space. Come for a day or the weekend. Are you longing for connection? Say yes to the spirit moving us, and come join us.
This Sunday - July 22nd: St.Peter's United Church in Tatlock, Ontario is celebrating its 125th Anniversary. The service will be conducted by Rev. Stephen Duncan and John Lochead. Stephen was a student minister on this pastoral charge in 1971 and John in 1957. The service begins at 11:00 am followed by a lunch in the Darling Township Hall.
