Full-Time Minister: Mentor a Newly Amalgamated Community of Faith

Forest Hill and Trinity United Churches seek a warm, collaborative, and community-minded Ordered Minister. Key responsibilities will include leading engaging worship, encouraging spiritual growth, and helping to guide two congregational stories into one shared future with grace, creativity, and trust.

Our faith community is actively involved beyond Sunday worship. We share our facilities and assets with organizations that strengthen community life. We serve as a worship home for five other non-United Church congregations, a Montessori school, and a community music school by creating welcoming spaces for connection, learning, and neighbourhood engagement. Following the horrific shootings at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX we invited our contributors to share their thoughts and wrestle with the continuing epidemic of mass shootings in America. We pray their words guide you in your own lament and push us all to consider how we might be part of writing a new more peaceful future.
